In the class we will make a cute face for our amigurumi doll. You’ll then be able to combine different styles of eyes and mouth and create a unique face for your character. This class is a continuation of my first class Crochet Your Unique Character: Basic Amigurumi Doll’s Body and I'll be using the doll’s body from my first class as an example. However, you can apply this technique to your own dolls or toys. .
I prefer to embroider the face of my amigurumi, because it permits me to make different expressions (sleepy eyes, open eyes, laughing eyes, big mouth, small mouth, ). Also you can remove an embroidered face easily if you are not happy with it, and redo it. You have not so much freedom with plastic eyes. I think that embroidering is like drawing, so you can draw the face of your character using threads..
This class is great for you, if you like to make amigurumi and you want to make different expressions of your characters or learn to make them more adorable. I will show you how to remove your embroidering if you don’t like the result..
You shouldn’t be familiar with embroidering, I will show you how I make it, step by step..
