Developing self-compassion is the process of reevaluating how we speak with ourselves. It’s a practice of radical self honesty. There’s no shortcut to reach this stage, but there are some steps we can take to empower ourselves and give an appropriate reply to these harsh internal dialogues. .

- When we aren’t ruled by the Inner Critic, we can get to the end of a week and simply relax and reflect kindly on what we did rather than dwelling on what went wrong. We can look ourselves in the mirror without pointing flaws and really appreciate ourselves. We can treat failures as just failures and not as a catastrophe.
