What You Will Learn?
- This is a first in a series of classes I am publishing on art journaling. This class covers the basics. I will begin by explaining what an art journal is and what is it used for. I then move into the supplies you will need.I am only using very basic supplies in this course, no need to go out and spend a fortune..
- Disclaimer: you may become addicted to art supplies once you start art journaling. Consider yourself warned!.
- Once we have the supplies sorted we will discuss color inspiration and then dive right into the background of our journal page. We will then build up layers of texture using simple texture tools such as bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard. Finally we will add a focal point and any inspirational words or quotes. You will have completed three journal pages by the end of this course!.
- Your class project will be to create your own journal pages and share at least one with the group. Remember there is no right or wrong way in art journaling, just have fun!.
