What You Will Learn?

  • Hello and welcome back to another blender course, my name is Zerina and in this course, we are going to be modeling Pokoyo the cartoon character. We are going to use blender version 2.90 which is the latest version up to this date..
  • When we open our blender we will import our reference images that you can download on https://gum.co/pLrgD. Once we add the reference images we are going to start with modeling. First, we will model the head then peace by peace we will model the whole character. When we finish modeling our character we will apply textures that we can find in the Blenderkit library addon. Once we apply the texture from Blenderkit we will continue with the application of basic materials to the rest of the character. After we added the texture and materials final step is the final render settings where we will prepare our model for rendering. We used all basic mashes and some of the materials for this character and also we used basic modifiers for this one as well..
  • This course is for beginners but if you are an advanced 3d artist you can use this course as an exercise. At the end of this course, you are going to have a character that you can use for your portfolio, social media, etc. What are we waiting for? Let's hop on to the video!.
