Create Black and White Collage Papers in Procreate

What You Will Learn?

• Join me in “playful practice” as I create black and white collage papers in Procreate. And learn how to make digital tissue and mulberry paper! Black and white designs offer that awesome bit of contrast that every artist wants in their pieces. .
• Every collage artist and most mixed media artists have piles of collage paper, many that they have created themselves. This allows them to bring themselves to their art from the very beginning. The great thing about creating digital papers is that these designs can be used both digitally and in physical art. You can create your own designs on your iPad while you are on the train on your way to work, sitting in the school pick up line, in the doctor’s office waiting room, and just about anywhere else you can take your iPad. Then you can create collages in Procreate with those digital papers, or you can print them out to use in your physical artwork..
• Please be aware that if you print your papers on an inkjet printer, you may not be able to successfully use those papers with wet media or adhesive because the ink is likely to bleed. You can print on a laser printer without a problem. If you do not have a laser printer, you can send your designs to an office supply store to be printed. I would recommend that you verify with the store that they do indeed use laser printers..
