How to do Backup and Recovery to keep in line with Business Continuity Planning 4. The job and roles of the Database Administrator The course outline is as follows: Lesson 1 - Introduction Lesson 2 - Installing and configuring a SQL Server 2019 environment Lesson 3 - Creating a database Lesson 4 - Logins, Users, and Roles Lesson 5 - SQL Lesson 6 - Instance Configuration Lesson 7 - TempDB Lesson 8 - Parallelism Lesson 9 - Transaction Log Lesson 10 - Backups Lesson 11 - Recovery Lesson 12 - Automation Lesson 13 - High Availability Lesson 14 - Cloud Lesson 15 - Corruption Note: No prior knowlege is needed except you need to know what is an IP Address. Everything else will be taught in the course. The hardware requirements are: A computer with at least 8GB of RAM. Preferrably, the RAM should be 12 GB or more. This is required to setup a SQL Server virtualized environment. If you don't meet the hardware requirements, you can always install SQL Server on your host machine instead of the virtual machine.
