• Yes, it's about as easy as it sounds, Easy Peasy Painting in Procreate. This is the perfect Class for anyone who has just picked up Procreate and wants to discover some easy, fun, but effective painting techniques. But not only beginners will enjoy this Class. Painting in Procreate can be made very complicated, but sometimes you just want to paint something for fun, without getting into any complications..
• We're going to paint a beautiful Bonsai Tree together with some of the excellent brushes that come with Procreate. I'll take you through 5 stages of painting: Leaves, Trunk & Branches, FlowerPot & Table, Background and Shadow Effect. In each stage we will use a different brush, matching the goal we want to accomplish. While painting, I will show you how to use the brushes and how to paint the part we are painting convincingly..
• During the whole process we will keep an eye on every part being as easy as possible. Does easy mean we will just end up with a mediocre result? No not at all, the result will be rather lovely. Once you've gone through this Class, you can use the painting techniques on various subjects to explore them more. They're also great if you just want to do a quick painting, when on a break, having a few moment off, or just want to have some uncomplicated fun..
• What do you need for this Class? Very little actually. I've provided the sketch we're going to use as a guide in the Project section. For those of you who would rather draw the Bonsai Tree yourself, there's an image of the sketch and the original photo as a reference. Aside from this all you need is your Apple Pencil and the iPad you use it with. O, and of course Procreate is a must :-).
