  • 3. Substrate of Choice (different papers, book pages, doilies, cotton fabric, muslin, etc.) I use this mixed media paper.
  • 4. Paint Brush or Spray Bottle.
  • 5. An old pot for boiling.
  • 5. Twine.
  • 7. Brick or stones to weigh down your bundles.
  • 8. Flowers and high tannin leaves (examples include maple, oak, birch, nut tree leaves, fruit tree leaves and herbs).
  • Optional: tea bags, coffee, turmeric, food coloring.
  • No artistic skills are required. In fact, if you have always wanted to make beautiful paintings, but felt you didn’t have the skill, this is the perfect way to create that original art you’ve always dreamed of. Anyone can do it including school-aged children!.
