What You Will Learn?

  • In this course you will learn how to make decorative papers using a gelatin plate, acrylic paints, stencils and various items you make have lying around the house that can produce an interesting texture. You will learn to  print on a variety of papers you may already have such as printer paper, drawing paper and tissue paper (gift). .
  • For your class project you will print your own background papers. When you are finished you will have amazing one of a kind designs to use in your art journals, mixed media pieces and other projects..
  • This class is fun, relaxing and great for all levels and ages. I have done this project with 1st graders, 4th graders and 5th graders and they all love getting their hands dirty and being able to produce OOAK pieces of artwork. I often use my gelatin prints for decoupage on my paper mache sculptures..
