What You Will Learn?
- Embroidery hoop art is a simple and fun way to create a beautiful piece of art for your home. You can create really complex and beautiful designs, with relatively basic stitching knowledge. You just need to pick up a needle and thread!.
- This class teaches you all of the basics you need to get started. From setting up your hoop and making a stitch sampler, all the way to creating your first piece of hoop art from an embroidery pattern..
- In this class, you'll learn:.
- This class is in 'real-time'. So you will be able to follow along with me step by step as we create your first stitch sampler. I have split each stitch into its own individual lesson so you can easily find each stitch if you need to refresh your memory. Feel free to skip around between lessons and sections. Whatever helps you learn!.
- This class includes two downloadable embroidery patterns. One for the stitch sampler and one for the class project. Both guides can be printed as an A4 PDF which will make it the perfect size for the 5-inch hoop I am demonstrating on in the videos. Feel free to change the size of the hoop you use or even draw your own design using the stitches you have learned. .
- This class is for you if you are interested in embroidery, but are not sure where to start. I have incorporated everything you need to know in one place so you should find it nice and simple to follow. Everything is clearly labelled so you can come back to the parts you need time and time again. .
- If you have any questions please pop them in the class discussions and I will get back to you as soon as I can..
- Happy Stitching! .
