What You Will Learn?

  • Learn to sing in 3 part harmony effortlessly..
  • In this class through practice and repetition you will learn 10 songs in three part harmony..
  • Just as you don’t need to understand colour theory or art history to paint a nice painting,You don’t need to be able to read sheet music or have any understanding of music theory to sing in beautiful 3-part harmony. .
  • We will learn harmony singing by learning songs in harmony, and sing them over and over until they get into our muscle memory. .
  • Through singing with others in a safe and welcoming environment you can easily and effortlessly develop your ear and voice. I wanted to re-create this at home, so to make the feeling of being in a singing circle I have made 4D Audio. Through spatial audio it recreates the feeling of singers being all around you and you can listen to multiple parts at the same time!.
  • The songs we will be learning are from my 3rd album More Like Me. The harmony parts were composed by my very talented band The Garden Voices, we’ve got Miriam Cox who trained at the Royal College of Music in London, and Emily Batesmith who formerly sang with the BBC Symphony Chorus..
  • For this class you don’t need any special equipment, just find a cosy space to sing. .
  • Let’s learn some beautiful harmony songs together.
  • About Your Teacher : My name is Laura Lamn and I’m a folk singer and seamstress. I sing because I know about the power of singing for mental health. In 2021 I started a Singing Mamas group in my home town. Singing Mamas is an international movement building singing communities for women’s wellbeing..
