What You Will Learn?
- The Sea Waves Rings Class is the first in a new series that will take all the techniques you have learnt in Silversmithing for Beginners and add a challenge to help you advance your skills!.
- Intermediate Silversmithing will include stone setting, forging, mixed metals and much more, and in this class the focus is on your soldering skills. You will be taking three rings from the Simple Hammered Rings class (see link below), adding a twist and carefully soldering them together in a stack. I'll be there to hep you every step of the way, with troubleshooting tips and some hints to help with the forging and soldering..
- The equipment needed for the project is explained in the videos and also listed on a downloadable document. I have kept the equipment needed to a minimum, and all the equipment listed can be used for a variety of other jewellery making projects. The second downloadable class document available is a chart listing ring sizes..
- The Sea Waves Ring was designed as part of the Ring A Month 2019 challenge. January's prompt was Texture. For more about the challenge visit www.facebook.com/groups/makearingamonth/.
- If you haven't already done so, I recommend watching the Simple Hammered Rings class before taking this class:.
