What You Will Learn?

• This course is a bit technical yet a simple introduction on English Vowels, specifically American Vowels. By building your understanding of Linguistics, you will begin to see and hear why you might not sound like a native speaker. I also recommend using online assessment tools so that you can record your speech, identify mistakes, and measure your pronunciation skills. • The full course, which should be available by the end of 2023, will focus on 22 of the most commonly misunderstood and misspoken sounds in English, the single vowels. .
• What’s special about the course?.
• 1. The lessons use side-view drawings and front-view videos of the mouth to help you see, hear, and understand how the sounds are made.
• 2. There is a color-coded system of symbols, in IPA (the International Phonetic Alphabet), to help you remember the different sounds that you will learn.
• 3. This is the only course that gives you a complete understanding between Spelling and Pronunciation (Spelling vs. Sound) for American English Vowels.
