Recap

What You Will Learn?

  • Remote films do not have to be boring and low quality! During this class you will learn how to create engaging films remotely..
  • Regardless whether you have made in-person films for years or are just dipping your toes into visual storytelling, I will teach you my process of creating a film entirely remote from your team and talent..
  • Now that being distributed from your team, talent, and peers is becoming more of a norm - creating remotely is evolving along with it. In this class you will learn how to use the constraints of remote filmmaking to your benefit to mold your story. This skill can be used to create visual stories for your company/team, give you the option to have a more diverse talent pool, and is a more environmentally friendly way to make films..
  • You will be able to create these films with nearly any equipment – phone, tablet, or computer and edit them with free or paid software. For my examples, I will be using Premiere Pro and some other Adobe Creative Cloud tools, but it can be anything you are comfortable with and/or have readily available. I will be providing you with example footage, audio, and assets for everything but feel free to use your own content as well. .
  • You will learn.
  • For an example of a fully remote film, see my docu-series – The Gray Area of Remote Work..
