Class Project: Your Strategic Plan

What You Will Learn?

  • Are you tired of social media sucking up your time? In a world where social media outlets hire people to keep you online 24/7, creating boundaries on social media has never been more important..
  • Whether social media is part of your job, or just something that steals your focus all too often, this class will give you practical tips to help you refine your social media habits and boost your productivity. This class provides a brief introduction to the ways we can "detox" from social media and provides you with tools to create a personalized plan to stay in control of your time. You'll want a pen and paper or a device to take notes. The project for this class is simple:.
  • This class does assume knowledge of how to change account settings for a variety of social media platforms, as well as how to change phone notification settings. If you feel stuck, look for the Help and Support links on Facebook, Twitter, etc. or post in our class discussion for feedback. I also assume some basic organizational habits such as keeping a calendar and making to-do lists. Skillshare has some excellent classes on productivity and staying organized, so check those out if your current system isn't working for you..
