What You Will Learn?
- This class is all about making a mixed media sketchbook with a special twist..
- You will learn how to go about making 31 pages sketchbook, bookbinding bits and also have some fun with splattering color around - in my case, I use black ink but watercolors will work just as well. I share a few tips across the whole class too - like how to tame those slippery rulers, how to sharpen your exacto knife, how to apply wax to thread and even, how to sew a button :) Mind you, it's not just sewing a button, it's sewing a button that works best on your thicker fabrics like coats and jackets..
- And the special twist? This sketchbook will have absolutely NO blank pages because we are going to make it with randomly pre-marked papers. These fun pages will then be there to ignite your imagination and to make you see possibilities. At least this is my intention behind this class..
