What You Will Learn?

• Hoop earrings are such a classic design, easy to wear and great for any occasion. They look quite a simple design to make but getting a smooth even curve in the wire can be bit tricky - unless, that is, you use the tips and tricks in my video class!.
• I'm using 2mm square wire in the videos to give the hoops a lovely contemporary look. I'll show you how to curve them into part circles and also share with you how I set them up for soldering. My method leaves a little bit of scrap wire but the class also includes a bonus section to show you how to create an extra pair of dainty stud earrings - no silver ever goes to waste in my studio!.
• This is one of a series of video classes, each one showing you how to quickly and easily make a lovely pair of earrings - sometimes two pairs - as part of my #52earrings challenge. I have challenged myself to design and film tutorials for 52 pairs of earrings in 2017, and I'd love you to join me. • The equipment needed for the project is explained in the videos and also listed on a downloadable document that covers most of the tools that I will use in future earrings video classes as well so you can plan ahead! All the equipment listed can be used for a variety of other jewellery making projects. I've used both a larger and smaller blow torch in the class..
