What You Will Learn?
- Stationery 101 - Quick & Easy Notepads.
- I love stationery, I admit it, I love buying it, but also making it. In this class I am going to show you how to make a quick and simple notepad. As I try to recycle materials, I've already got at home, I'll be using materials that would normally end up being thrown out, eg cereal boxes, used envelopes and paper that has been printed on one side, but not the other. .
- However, using these items, does not mean, the notepad won't look pretty! I'll be showing two versions of notepads, one is using old envelopes for pages, the other is about recycling the above mentioned printer paper..
- Nevertheless, you can use the exact same method to create notepads from ordinary printer paper, cardboard and pretty papers.
- Tools and Materials needed.
- - Cutting mat and craft knife or paper cutter, scissors for cutting paper and card board.
- - pencil.
- - PVA glue (and brush).
- -glue stick (or any other glue).
- - binder clips, clothes pegs or book press.
- - recycled paper (paper printed on one side, but not on the other, so still usable), used envelopes or ordinary printer paper.
- - cereal box or other thick card stock (card board).
- - pretty paper (for the cover) or page from a magazine, catalogue, old map etc.
