  • To tear paper you need only a metal straightedge, a bone folder (or sharpie marker) and/or a slightly dampened, clean sponge. You may want to experiment with a variety of handmade papers. The ease of tearing will depend on the thickness of the paper and the characteristics of the fibers..
  • The projects for the class are limited only by your imagination.  You may create gift tags, note cards, matted artwork, collages or mixed media artwork.  The only requirement is that your project involves tearing paper using one or both of the two methods presented in the class..
