Outcomes

  • This is a fun class for all levels of sewists, especially for those who want to expand their knowledge and try something different. The Komebukuro is a traditional Japanese drawstring bag, historically used for taking gifts of rice or the giving of presents. In this class, we will make updated versions. There are four to choose from , although the basic structure of each bag is the same. The difference is made when we decide how to finish, or decorate, our bag. We do this by quilting, patchworking and slow stitching. I demonstrate how to do each of these tequniques and you can easily apply them to other projects. Full instructions and templates are availble to print..
